Paul’s Lakeside Cottage rental is nestled on a private 1/2 acre property in Garden Bay, surrounded by towering Douglas Firs, Maple, Alder and Spruce trees. The cottage is clean and bright, with skylights in every room. Open the double doors to the main bedroom with pitched ceilings and skylight, and views of the treed backyard. The comfortable queen bed with hypoallergenic Purple Mattress® welcomes you after a day of exploring the Sunshine Coast.
The cozy sunken TV area has a queen futon that folds out for extra guests, and large double sliding doors that open to let in the cool lake breeze. The main living space has a comfortable sofa bed placed around a wood burning stove and a dedicated office space, just in case you need to catch up on a few emails. Paul’s kitchen is very well-equipped with fridge, microwave, air fryer, stove/convection oven, toaster and all the cooking basics (coffee maker, pots, pans, salt, pepper, dishes & silverware, etc) – just bring your food and drink of choice. The dining table fits below a window with views of Hotel lake, or grill your meal outside on the BBQ and dine on the large covered deck.

Paul’s guests also have access to the nearby garage with laundry (washer and dryer), pool and air-hockey table, extra fridge and freezer, board games, PlayStation 3 (PS3) & Nintendo Wii video game consoles and universal gym.
This area of the Sunshine Coast is an outdoor enthusiast’s playground. Paul’s Cottage is centrally located, with a kayak & boat launch just up the road. Pender Harbour is known as the “Venice of the North” with clean and warm swimming lakes, lots of ocean access and wildlife, fishing, boating, mountain biking, and hiking at one of the many Provincial Parks nearby with panoramic ocean views. Spend the day putting at the Pender Harbour Golf Club or at the Aquatic & Fitness Centre with sauna and hot tub. Despite its rural charm, we have ocean view restaurants, a highly acclaimed oceanfront spa, and much more! Hotel Lake is one of the best swimming lakes on the Sunshine Coast, but has limited public access – making Paul’s dock a perfect spot for you to spend your day. The cottage is stocked with brochures, maps and local restaurant information, too.
